Jason Zelinski

Jason Zelinski is an experienced Consulting Mineral Landman with a solid background in mineral land work and negotiations, currently serving the City of Medicine Hat since November 2020. Prior roles include consulting positions with Torxen Resources and City of Medicine Hat Natural Gas & Petroleum Division, where responsibilities encompassed negotiating lease agreements and managing estate issues. Jason's extensive experience at Cenovus Energy involved leading a team in the acquisition and management of significant oil sands and PNG mineral rights. Previously at Encana Corporation, Jason contributed to substantial land lease agreements and strategy development. Early career roles at PanCanadian Petroleum Limited provided foundational skills in land contracts and joint interest representation. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Calgary and education from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
