Director Of Library And Community Services at City of Menlo Park

Sean Reinhart has a diverse work experience in the library and community services sector. Sean started their career at Santa Clara University in 2005 as a Help Services Coordinator in the University Library. In 2006, they joined the City of Redwood City as a Public Services Manager - Library Services Supervisor. In 2008, they moved to the City of Hayward and held the role of Supervising Librarian - Adult and Literacy Services until 2010 when they became the Director of Libraries and Community Services. Sean worked in this role until 2018. In 2018, they joined the City of Menlo Park as the Interim Library Services Director and later became the Director of Library Services. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of Director of Library and Community Services. In 2021, they became the President of the Rotary Club of Menlo Park. Sean will serve in this role until June 2022. Additionally, Sean has experience as the President of the Hayward Rotary Club from 2016 to 2017.

Sean Reinhart earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Hayward, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree at San Jose State University, attending from 2006 to 2009. In 2011, Sean completed the Berkeley Executive Program at the Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California, Berkeley.
