Charu Aggarwal

Charu Aggarwal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social services, nonprofit management, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Social Services Program Coordinator for the City of Milpitas since October 2020, Charu leads the development of community-focused programs aimed at assisting economically disadvantaged families and vulnerable populations. With a background as an independent consultant since February 2016, Charu has provided support in grant writing and strategic planning. Previous roles include Program Manager at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, where effective programs were created for underserved communities, and Board member for Dobbs Ferry Public Library, contributing to stakeholder-driven initiatives.
