Ciana Burrell's work experience includes roles at various organizations. In 2016, they were a Student Support Services Board Member at St. Olaf College, where they organized events and facilitated networking opportunities for students. In 2018, they worked as an Amgen Scholar at The National Institutes of Health, conducting research on Alcohol Use Disorder. Ciana used data analysis software and presented their findings at an academic conference. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Peer Advisor at St. Olaf College. Later, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Coordinator at St. Catherine University. In 2021, they became a Clinical Trials Assistant at Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute. In 2023, they joined Roots Wellness Center as a Systems Navigator and Intake Coordinator, and they also began working as a Project Coordinator at the City of Minneapolis.
Ciana Burrell pursued their education at St. Olaf College from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, specializing in General Biology. Ciana then furthered their studies at the University of Minnesota, from 2020 to 2022, where they completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Community Health Promotion.
