Public Art Project Manager at City of Minneapolis

Lydia F. has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as an Assistant Museum Director at ONEIDA TRIBE OF INDIANS OF WISCONSIN in 2004. Lydia then worked as an EDA Planner at Rosebud Sioux Tribe from 2009 to 2014. After that, they joined Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe as a Tribal Planner until 2016. Lydia then became the Cultural Center General Manager at Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) from 2016 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Keya Consulting as a Principal Consultant. Currently, Lydia works as a Public Art Project Manager at City of Minneapolis, starting in February 2023.

Lydia F. has a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA degree from Pratt Institute. Lydia also holds an Associate of Fine Arts - AA degree from the Institute of American Indian Arts, specializing in Museum Studies/Three Dimensional Design. In 2021, they attended the Creative Community Leadership Institute - Springboard for the Arts, where they focused on creative community building.
