Meghan Burian

Meghan Burian, MPH, CEM, is a Public Health Specialist focused on Emergency Preparedness with experience at the City of Minneapolis since March 2020, where responsibilities include strategic planning for emergency response, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles feature collaboration on opioid-related projects at the Minnesota Department of Health and service with AmeriCorps NCCC. Meghan Burian also managed drug and alcohol programs at Endeavor Air and served as a Peer Educator at Bradley University, providing public health education. Academically, Meghan Burian holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, has participated in the Emergence Program at the Naval Postgraduate School, and is pursuing an EMT Paramedic certification at Inver Hills Community College. A Bachelor's Degree was earned at Bradley University, focusing on Sociology, Spanish, Criminal Justice, and Leadership Studies.
