David Dodson has a robust background in mental health services, currently serving as a MHO Care Coordination Specialist for Lane County Government since August 2019, focusing on exceptional needs care coordination. Previous experience includes leadership roles as the Assertive Community Treatment Team Lead at both Laurel Hill Center and South Lane Mental Health Services. Dodson's career at ShelterCare spanned nearly two decades, featuring roles such as Program Manager for Riverbend Supportive Community, where housing support was provided to adults with psychiatric disabilities, and Counselor-Advocate III, delivering crisis intervention services. Dodson began in academia as a Graduate Teaching Fellow in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Oregon.
