Scott Ehrenberg has extensive experience in contract management and administration. From 2001 to present, they have worked for the City of Minneapolis, where they have served as a Development Contracts Administrator. In this role, they have managed a portfolio of over 2,200 development contracts, totaling $350 million. Scott has also been responsible for reporting and portfolio audits with the Office of the State Auditor. Prior to this, from 2001 to 2018, Scott worked as a Loan Portfolio Specialist for the City of Minneapolis. In this position, they managed an affordable housing contract portfolio consisting of 500 contracts and $250 million in City investment. During their time as a Loan Portfolio Specialist, Scott successfully negotiated the refinancing, repayment, or restructuring of 45 affordable housing projects involving $66 million City investment and totaling over $444 million in project financing. Additionally, they have generated over $15 million in repayments and contract administration fees for the City of Minneapolis. Before joining the City of Minneapolis, Scott worked as an Office Coordinator for Eloigne Company from 1997 to 2001.
Scott Ehrenberg completed a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree in Public Policy Analysis at the University of Minnesota from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and Psychology from St. Cloud State University between 1989 and 1992.
In addition to their formal education, Scott Ehrenberg has also received several certifications. Scott obtained the Certified HOME Program Specialist - Regulations certification from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in July 2006. In December 2003, they obtained the Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP) certification from the National Development Council. Furthermore, in February 1999, Scott Ehrenberg received the National Credit Compliance Professional (NCCP) certification from Elizabeth Moreland Consulting, Inc.
