Ted Arbeiter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ted currently works as a Public Works Communications and Outreach professional for the City of Minneapolis since 2021. Ted is also a Coach for Boys Baseball at Osseo Senior High School since 2021. Previously, Ted worked as a Technology Services Coordinator at Minneapolis Convention Center from 2016 to 2021, where they had responsibilities in various technology-related areas. Prior to that, they served as a Field Agent at the Center for Safe Youth from 2010 to 2021. Ted also has experience as a Director of Facilities & Operations and Public Access Supervisor at Suburban Community Channels from 1999 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Coach for Boys Varsity Baseball at Breck High School from 1998 to 2005. Earlier in their career, Ted held roles such as Production Services Manager and Community Television Coordinator at Northern Dakota County Community Television from 1988 to 1999. Ted also worked as a Cable Access Coordinator at the City of Hudson, Wisconsin from 1987 to 1988. Before that, Ted gained experience in the film and media industry as a Production Assistant, Grip, Location Scout, Video Assist, and Video Casting professional at Arbeiter Film and Media Services from 1986 to 1987.

Ted Arbeiter attended St. Cloud State University from 1979 to 1982, where they studied Russian and East European Studies, Political Science, and Communications. Ted then went on to attend the University of Minnesota from 1982 to 1986, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Political Science.
