Scott Finlayson

Scott Finlayson is currently serving as the Police Administrative Sergeant for the City of Moab, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, Finlayson worked as a Police Officer for the City of West Jordan and the City of Herriman, and also held the position of City Manager for Roosevelt City Corporation. Experience encompasses significant roles within law enforcement, including School Resource Officer, K9 Handler, and leadership positions such as President of Thanksgiving Village H.O.A. Finlayson has extensive security management experience, previously overseeing law enforcement operations for multiple Marriott hotels. Education includes a Master's degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Utah Valley University.
