Andrea Renny

Andrea Renny, P.E., PTOE, serves as the Public Works Director for the City of Monterey, where responsibilities include designing and managing projects that enhance and expand the recreational trail, alongside managing traffic signal installations and road reconfiguration efforts. Previously, Andrea contributed to the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System as a Project Engineer, playing a key role in the $220 million San Diego Trolley Mission Valley West Extension project, as well as serving as a Project Manager and Resident Engineer for various roadway and railroad crossing projects. Early career experience included working as a Field Engineer at Mortenson, managing project submittals and contracts for an $18 million initiative. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and has also studied at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
