Bill Austin

Bill Austin is an accomplished transportation planning professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Morgantown Metropolitan Planning Organization since June 2009, Bill Austin oversees operations, prepares critical transportation plans, and manages public and intergovernmental relations. Prior to this role, Bill Austin worked as a Senior Project Manager at Wilbur Smith Associates, focusing on traffic and revenue studies in Florida, and held positions as a Principal Planner at URS Corporation, a Senior Planner for the City of Wilmington, and a Planner II in Alamance County. Bill Austin's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Virginia Tech.
