James Rausse, FAICP, WEDG, possesses extensive experience in urban planning and development, currently serving on the FAICP Nominating Committee for the American Planning Association NY Metro Chapter and as Planning Commissioner for the City of Mount Vernon. Rausse's previous roles include Director of Planning & Development and Director of Capital Programs for the Office of the Bronx Borough President, overseeing comprehensive planning initiatives and managing capital budgets for affordable housing. Additionally, Rausse has held leadership positions in various organizations, including President of the American Planning Association NY Metro Chapter and is an adjunct professor at Hunter College. Rausse holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Urban Planning and a Master's in Organizational Dynamics with a focus on Sustainable Development from the University of Pennsylvania.
