Jonathan R. Morales

Jonathan R. Morales is a skilled urban planner with extensive experience in planning, community engagement, and real estate development. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Mountlake Terrace since May 2022, Jonathan has previously worked for BERK Consulting, Inc. as an Associate Planner, focusing on projects related to housing policy, land use planning, and environmental planning. Early career roles included a Housing Developer at Hacienda CDC and a Planner with the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development, contributing to initiatives in Manhattan. Jonathan also has experience with the City of Portland's Bureau of Planning and Sustainability and has held various research and internship positions related to urban studies. Jonathan holds a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Portland State University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Africana/Puerto Rican & Latino Studies from Hunter College.
