Emily Dixon

Emily Dixon is a skilled social planner with extensive experience in community planning. Currently employed at the City of Nanaimo since January 2023, Emily has served in roles focused on community planning. Prior to this, Emily worked at the Cowichan Valley Regional District from January 2016 to January 2023, progressing through positions including Community Planner and Planner I. Emily began a professional career as a Planning Intern with the Government of Saskatchewan in late 2014. Emily holds a Master of Community Planning from Vancouver Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in Regional and Urban Planning from the University of Saskatchewan, earned from 2010 to 2015.
