Craig Schlichting has over two decades of experience in engineering and community development, currently serving as the Director of Community Assets and Development for the City of New Brighton since May 2010. In this role, Craig oversees Public Works, Engineering, and Economic Development functions. Prior to this position, Craig held various engineering roles, including Senior Engineering Supervisor at Plowe Engineering, Inc. and Senior Project Engineer at Anoka County Highway Department. Craig's career began with internships at the University of Minnesota St. Anthony Falls Laboratory and the Minnesota Geological Survey, and Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Education includes attendance at Sartell High School from 1989 to 1992.
