Mark Suggs

Mark Suggs currently serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the City of New Brighton, a position held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Mark Suggs accumulated extensive experience in educational settings, including serving as the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator at Mounds View Public Schools from September 2002 to October 2021, where responsibilities included collaboration with school leadership and the community to enhance student outcomes. Mark Suggs also held positions as the Northside Community Liaison at Minneapolis Public Schools and as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Associate at Roseville Public Schools. Early career roles included Crisis Intervention Specialist at Model Cities Family Development Center and Group Home Counselor at Minneapolis Urban League. Mark Suggs possesses a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication, both from Concordia University-St. Paul.
