Carrie Avallone is an experienced legal professional, currently serving as City Attorney for the City of New Smyrna Beach since January 2018. Previously, Carrie held the position of Assistant City Attorney for the City of Daytona Beach from February 2007 to December 2017 and worked as a Staff Attorney at the Fifth District Court of Appeal from November 2004 to January 2007. Additionally, Carrie was an Associate at Wicker Smith et al. from August 2003 to October 2004. Educationally, Carrie earned a Juris Doctor degree in Health Care Law from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in May 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida, completed in 1999. Carrie's earlier education includes attendance at Nova Southeastern University, the University of New Mexico, and graduation from Flagler Palm Coast High School in June 1995.
