Jay Young has extensive experience in recreation and facility management, currently serving as the Manager of Recreation Services and Facilities for the City of New Westminster since September 2007, and previously held the position of Recreation Programmer at Century House. In addition, Jay Young operates as an Ice Maintenance Person at Canlan Sports starting August 2023. Prior roles include Executive Director at Green Bay Bible Camp from August 2004 to August 2007, Youth Services Coordinator for the City of New Westminster from 2003 to 2004, and Program Director at Keats Camps from 1998 to 2002. Jay Young holds a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management from Capilano University, earned between 1996 and 2003, and attended the University of Northern British Columbia from 1995 to 1996.
