Quyen Hoang is an experienced public art professional currently serving as the Public & Community Art Coordinator for the City of New Westminster since April 2021, overseeing the public program for the city. Prior to this, Quyen worked with the City of Calgary from October 2009 to April 2021 in various roles, including Public Art Program Coordinator, where responsibilities included management of a significant public art collection and administration of acquisition processes, and Acting Superintendent of Public Art, focusing on program development, stakeholder management, and budget oversight. Quyen's career also includes a role as Art Curator at Glenbow Museum from 2006 to 2009, managing art collections and facilitating community engagement through exhibitions and programs. Quyen holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Concordia University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Fine Arts and Art History from the University of Calgary.
