Ellen Ciuba Parkhurst

Ellen Ciuba Parkhurst, MPH, is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the Director of Outreach Data at the Mayor's Public Engagement Unit in New York City since October 2016. Ellen leads efforts to integrate data into strategic decision-making, manages a multilingual outreach team, and develops city-wide strategies that enhance health care access for over 200,000 New Yorkers annually. Prior roles include Outreach Director and Project Lead, where Ellen implemented community organizing models, improved outreach efficiency, and scaled digital outreach programs in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ellen's diverse background includes positions in political campaigns, fundraising, and international health education, and Ellen holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
