Laura Wood

Laura Wood is currently the Chief Democracy Officer at the City of New York. Laura has previously worked as Senior Advisor & Special Counsel for the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York, Chief Counsel to the Senate Democratic Conference for the New York State Senate, Policy Director for State Senator Daniel Squadron, and Associate for Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP. Laura has also served as a Trustee for the Bronx Science Alumni Association and worked for the U.S. Department of Education as part of America Reads.
