David Lippman

David Lippman is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs and media relations. Since August 1998, Lippman has served as the Senior Press Information Officer for the City of Newark, where responsibilities include writing press releases, speeches, and proclamations, as well as managing media events and event planning. Prior experience includes serving as a Public Affairs Officer for the US Naval Antarctic Support Unit, where Lippman handled media relations and conducted public tours in New Zealand, and as a Broadcast Journalist for the US Navy's Far East Network. Lippman also held the role of Associate Editor at The Hudson Dispatch, contributing award-winning editorials and features. Lippman holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School for Social Research and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from New York University.
