Todd Venning is an experienced public sector executive with a diverse background in financial management and legal policy. Currently serving as City Manager and Chief Executive Officer for the City of Newburgh, New York, since February 2019, Todd has also held the role of City Comptroller and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Todd contributed as a Senior Management Analyst in Finance and Legal Policy at the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management, where expertise was provided in fiscal laws and financial processes. Additional experience includes serving as an Attorney in the Tax Policy Group at the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget, and earlier roles at Legal Services of the Hudson Valley and the New York City Housing Authority. Todd holds a Doctor of Law degree from Brooklyn Law School, a Master of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester.
