Jennifer Kohms

Jennifer Kohms is a seasoned professional in tourism development and event management, currently serving as the Tourism Development Coordinator for the City of Newport News since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Special Events Manager at the Chrysler Museum of Art, Weddings and Events Manager at The Hermitage Museum & Gardens, and Rental Sales and Events Coordinator at The Mariners' Museum and Park. Jennifer's career began in public relations and marketing, holding positions at Historic St. Luke's Restoration, Wharf Hill Brewing Co., Daily Press, and the Virginia Air & Space Center. Jennifer Kohms earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Stetson University in 1993.
