Susan M. McBride

Susan M. McBride holds a distinguished background in historic preservation and urban planning. Currently serving as the Division Head for Historic Preservation & Design Review at the City of Norfolk, VA since March 2013, Susan previously worked as the Principal City Planner for the City of Detroit from September 2001 to February 2013. Susan's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Historic Preservation with a concentration in Urban Planning from Eastern Michigan University, along with a Bachelor's of Applied Arts in Interior Design from Central Michigan University and a Master's of Science in Preservation and Restoration, also from Eastern Michigan University, focused on Urban Planning.
