Darrel Pyle is an experienced municipal government professional currently serving as City Manager for the City of Norman since July 2019, overseeing nearly 900 employees and a budget of $275 million to deliver city services to a population of 122,000. Previously, Darrel held the position of City Manager in Hanford, CA from November 2012 to July 2019, managing daily operations and a staff of 374 across full-time and seasonal positions. Darrel's earlier roles include City Manager in Tulare and Finance Director for the City of Porterville, as well as Financial Analyst/Assistant Finance Director in Visalia. Darrel holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Business/Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, both from Fresno State.
