Maylon Wesley

Maylon Wesley has a strong background in human resources, with experience in progressively managing HR functions such as HR supervision, policy design and implementation, recruitment, and benefits administration. They worked as a Human Resources Manager for the City of Houston from July 2007 to March 2023, where they improved internal processes and maintained positive employee relations. Prior to this role, Maylon was an HR Supervisor at IKON Office Solutions from May 2005 to June 2007, where they managed a team responsible for administering leave of absence processes. They are currently working as the Chief Strategist for Culture and Social Responsibility at the City of Norman since March 2023.

Maylon Wesley obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma, which they attended from 1991 to 1996. In addition, Maylon obtained a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University in June 2023.
