Shara Brazear

Shara Brazear has extensive work experience in communications, education, and marketing. Shara most recently worked as the Director of Communications for the City of North Little Rock starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Mathematics Teacher at the England School District from August 2016 to June 2020. In 2015, Shara worked as a Business Development and Marketing Coordinator at TruService Community Federal Credit Union, where they conducted research, developed marketing strategies, and networked with various organizations. Shara also has a background in communications, as they worked as a Communications Specialist at the North Little Rock School District from July 1994 to June 2014. In this role, they successfully led a millage campaign to fund a Capital Improvement Plan and managed the district's Partners in Education program.

Shara Brazear attended Ole Main High School in North Little Rock, Arkansas from 1984 to 1988. During their time there, they participated in the Honors Program. Shara then went on to study at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Administrative Management.
