Amy Cunningham has extensive experience in municipal management, currently serving as City Manager for the City of Novato since February 2020, with previous roles including Interim City Manager, Deputy City Manager, Administrative Services Director, and Finance Director. Prior experience includes serving as Interim Administrative Services Manager for the City of Half Moon Bay, Administrative Services Director for the City of Walnut Creek, and Administrative Services Director for the Town of Moraga. Additional experience includes a long tenure at the City of Dublin as Assistant to the City Manager, Budget Manager, and Housing and Human Services Manager. Cunningham's career began at the County of San Mateo's District Attorney's Office as a Senior Administrative Analyst. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University - East Bay.
