Helen McAlary

Executive Director, Community Life & Culture at City of Ontario

Helen McAlary began their work experience in 2003 at the San Bernardino County Library as a Library Regional Manager until 2010. In 2010, they joined the City of Ontario as a Library Director and later became the Executive Director of Community Life & Culture in 2018. Additionally, Helen served as the President of the California Library Association from 2016 to 2017.

Helen McAlary obtained their Master's Degree in Library Science from San Jose State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Women's Studies at California State University-San Bernardino, from 1998 to 2003.
