George Mcgowan

George Mcgowan is the Director of Audit Services & Management Support at the City of Orlando. George has over 20 years of experience in financial management, auditing, and consulting. George began their career in public service with the United States Air Force, where they served as a Financial Services Specialist for three years. George then transitioned to the City of Orlando, where they worked their way up from Manager of Audit Services and Management Support to their current position. George is a certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner. George is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

George Mcgowan has a Master of Liberal Studies from Rollins College, an MPA from Troy University, and a BSBA in Accounting from UCF College of Business. George also has a masters from Satellite High and a certification from the State of Florida in CPA.
