Jonathan Ford is the Fleet Management Division Manager at City of Orlando. Prior to that, they worked as a Vehicle Fleet Manager for the United States Air Force from September 2013 to December 2015. In that role, they were responsible for sourcing requirements and coordinating efforts among functional specialists for the division's programs. Jonathan also assigned work to 86 military and civilian personnel, initiated and completed transportation actions for 1200 vehicles and equipment, and conducted performance evaluations and quality inspections of services. Jonathan has a long history of working in positions of leadership and management, and is committed to ensuring equity among performance standards and rating techniques. Jonathan is also experienced in budgeting, spending plans, interviewing candidates for positions, and reviewing expenses.
Jonathan Ford's educational background includes a Masters of Public Administration from Ashford University, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University, and an Associate's Degree in Vehicle Management from the Community College of the Air Force. Jonathan also holds certifications from the NAFA Fleet Management Association in Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) and Certified Automotive Fleet Specialist, as well as certifications from the United States Air Force in First Sergeant (Additional Duty), Logistics Readiness Senior Enlisted Course, Resiliency Assistant Instructor, Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Ed, and Vehicle Management Superintendent.
