Alex Souto

Alex Souto possesses extensive experience in municipal human resources and management, currently serving as Deputy City Manager for the City of Pasadena since April 2015. In this role, Alex oversees Labor and Employee Relations and Safety Divisions, managing a workforce of over two thousand employees. Previously, Alex held the positions of Acting Director of Human Resources and Principal Human Resources Analyst within the same city. Prior to Pasadena, Alex was Human Resources Manager for the City of Bell Gardens and worked as a Human Resources Associate for the City of Glendale, CA. Alex holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University Northridge and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from California State University, Los Angeles.
