Robert Trejo, MPA, has extensive experience in code enforcement, currently serving as the Director of the Municipal Enforcement Services Department for the City of Perris since April 2017, after holding positions as Code Enforcement Manager and Supervisor. Prior experience includes roles as Code Enforcement Officer II for the City of Santa Monica from December 2010 to April 2017, Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Santa Ana from January 2000 to April 2010, and Code Enforcement Officer for the City of South Gate from November 1993 to December 1999. Robert Trejo holds a Master of Public Administration degree in Public Sector Management and Leadership from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the University of Phoenix. Additional qualifications include a Level III Certificate from the Orange County Sheriff Academy, Zoning Inspector and Housing and Property Maintenance Inspector certifications from the International Code Council, and a Certified Code Enforcement Officer designation from the California Association Of Code Enforcement Officers.
