Andrea Ngan

Andrea Ngan has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Andrea worked at the City of Philadelphia as a Community Co-Design Practice Lead, where they led a team to build a digital Equitable Community Engagement Toolkit. Andrea also worked as a Lead Service Design Strategist, managing a grant and overseeing the recruitment of internal and external lived experience experts for the Toolkit. In addition, they were a Service Design Strategist at the Service Design Studio, collaborating with policy-makers, city employees, and residents to enhance government service delivery.

Andrea is also the Co-Founder and Director of Strategy and Partnerships at Creative Resilient Youth, where they facilitate strategic planning, builds partnerships, manages fiscal sponsorships, and oversees the organization's operations. Andrea serves as an Initiator and Co-Organizer at Creative Resilience Collective, contributing to educational workshops, youth programs, and design resources focused on self-determined healing and mental health care.

Furthermore, Andrea worked as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching undergraduate courses on interface design for social good. Andrea has also worked as an Independent Consultant and a Design Strategist at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, where they supported the development of healthcare projects.

Andrea has experience as a Product and UX Designer at Beyond, where they led the creation of information architecture, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes for web products. Andrea also worked as an Interaction Designer at Local Projects, contributing to research, concept design, and user testing for public installations and digital platforms.

Earlier in their career, Andrea served as the Director of Youth Education and Outreach at The Periscope Project for Art and Architecture, establishing a summer program for youth to engage with urban pedagogy.
