Roman Strakovsky has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Roman began their career as a Data Analyst at Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 2003. In 2006, they joined the HHS Office of Inspector General as a Program Analyst, where they evaluated programs for fraud, waste, and abuse. Roman then transitioned to the City of Philadelphia in 2010, starting as a Senior Research Analyst in the Department of Revenue. Roman later became a Project Manager, leading a $7.3 million upgrade to the department's technical infrastructure. From 2017 until now, Roman served as the Director of Data Intelligence, where they managed a team and developed innovative ways to leverage data sources to support the department's mission. In January 2023, they were promoted to Chief Data and Research Officer.
Roman Strakovsky has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Statistics from the University of Maryland.
