William Dunn

Chief Toxicologist at City of Philadelphia

William Dunn has a diverse work experience in the field of forensic toxicology. William worked as a Forensic Toxicologist for the Dade County Medical Examiner and the NMS Labs. William also served as a Toxicologist for the Onondaga County Department of Health and as an Assistant Director for Analytic Bio-Chemistries. William served as the Deputy Chief Toxicologist at the State of NJ-Regional Medical Examiner's Office and then as the Assistant Director of the Forensic Toxicology Laboratory at the Office of Chief Medical Examiner. Currently, they work for the City of Philadelphia as the Chief Toxicologist. William also worked as a Consultant starting from 2018.

William Dunn attended Guilderland Central High School from 1964 to 1967. William then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry at the State University of New York at Oswego from 1967 to 1971. Following this, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University at Buffalo from 1971 to 1978.
