Jan Raether

Jan Raether currently serves as the Infrastructure Engagement & Performance Operations Manager for the City of Pittsburgh, following a role as an Infrastructure Engagement Specialist. Prior experience includes positions at Upstream Pittsburgh as the Plan/Build Manager and Urban Forestry Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating urban forestry activities, advocating for forest preservation, and assisting with GIS projects. Jan held the role of Project Coordinator at the Western Shasta Resource Conservation District, conducting field monitoring and environmental compliance documentation. Prior experiences include serving as a FEMA Corps Team Leader with AmeriCorps NCCC, working as a Wildland Fire Suppression Specialist for the Oregon Department of Forestry, and directing the Clark Honors Introductory Program at the University of Oregon. Jan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Geography from the University of Oregon.
