Melvin Hubbard El has extensive experience in public service, currently serving as a Senior Community Advisor in the Office of the Mayor for the City of Pittsburgh since February 2022. Prior to this role, Melvin held the position of Chief of Staff at the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives from January 2013 to February 2022. Melvin holds a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education Social Studies from PennWest Clarion.
