Shubh Thakkar

Shubh Thakkar is a motivated undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics & Social and Human Geography at The Ohio State University, expected to graduate in 2024. Thakkar's experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Associate at the Center for Urban and Regional Analysis and as a Transportation and Infrastructure Development Intern at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, both starting in June and May 2023, respectively. Earlier in 2023, Thakkar was a Research Assistant for the Mapping Discrimination Project at the National Bureau of Economic Research and served as a GIS Administrative Assistant in the Planning, Architecture, and Real Estate departments at The Ohio State University. Additionally, Thakkar held leadership positions as Director of Lectures and Chair of Alumni Relations for the Ohio Union Activities Board from May 2021 to April 2023 and contributed as a Research Assistant at the U.S. Coast Guard Interdictions Lab from April to December 2022.
