Greta Bolhuis, AICP, has a diverse range of work experience. Greta most recently worked as the Planning and Community Development Director for the City of Plymouth, Michigan. In this role, they were responsible for administering the city's tree ordinance, managing public utilities recordkeeping, and conducting a city-wide Master Plan Survey. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Community Development Director and Community Development Coordinator for the same city, where they fulfilled responsibilities such as analyzing zoning applications, assisting with zoning administration, and processing departmental FOIA requests. Greta also has experience as a Member Services Associate and Lifeguard at Power Wellness, as well as a Food and Beverage Manager at the Racquet Club of Ann Arbor. Greta has also worked as a Lifeguard at the City of Ypsilanti and as a Youth Swim Coach for the Ypsilanti Otters. Additionally, Greta served as a Youth Water Polo Coach for the Ann Arbor Huron Booster Club.
Greta Bolhuis, AICP completed their education with a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Eastern Michigan University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the same university in 2014. Greta also holds additional certifications including American Institute of Certified Planner (AICP), CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Lifeguarding, and ServSafe Manager.
