Grant Fernelius

Grant Fernelius has extensive experience in community development and economic planning. Grant currently serves as the Community and Economic Development Director for the City of Plymouth, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Grant worked as the Community Development Director for the City of Coon Rapids from February 2015 to January 2023. Grant also served as the Community Development Director for the City of New Brighton from 2004 to 2014 and as the Assistant HRA Director / Housing Programs Coordinator for the City of Fridley HRA from 1993 to 2004.

Grant Fernelius has a Bachelor of Science degree in Housing-Community Development from the University of Minnesota. Grant also holds a Masters of Arts degree in Public Administration from Hamline University. However, the specific years of enrollment and completion for both degrees are not provided.
