Mario Sotolongo has a diverse work experience in code compliance and enforcement. Mario is currently serving as the Code Compliance Director at the City of Pompano Beach since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Code Compliance Manager at Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. from July 2012 to March 2021. Mario began their career as a Code Enforcement Officer at the City of Fort Lauderdale in September 2005 and worked there until July 2012.
Mario Sotolongo attended the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Agropecuarias de La Habana from 1986 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería en Mecanización Agropecuaria (Mechanical Engineering).
