Lauri Inna

Lauri Inna is the current Mayor of the City of Pori, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Lauri served as Area Director at Kesko OYJ from June 2020 to March 2023 and was the Mayor and General Director of the City of Salo from June 2017 to June 2020, where attention was focused on developing a smart city with advancements in ICT, IoT, and sustainability initiatives. Lauri's earlier experience includes managing director roles in the Municipality of Hattula and Punkalaidun Municipality, where efforts were directed towards green energy and agricultural bioenergy innovations. Communication expertise was developed through positions as Communications Manager at Teollisuuden Voima Oy and Head of Communications within the Finnish Defence Forces. Lauri's educational background includes a Master of Political Science from the University of Turku.
