Jessica Straits

Jessica S. is an experienced professional currently serving as the Communications & Records Management Coordinator for the City of Port Angeles since April 2019. Prior to this role, Jessica held positions such as Office Automation & Registrar with the Department of Defense Education Activity from February to October 2018, and Floor Sales Specialist at Under Armour from February 2015 to July 2016. Additional experience includes serving as an Independent Marketing Coordinator at Keller Williams Realty Savannah Downtown and Event Coordinator Assistant at Simply Savannah Events. Jessica’s early career includes work as a Lifeguard with New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation. Academically, Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of South Carolina and a 150-Hour TEFL Certification from the University of Toronto, alongside studies at Appalachian State University from 2009 to 2011.
