Erin Ferrell is a dedicated sustainability professional with extensive experience in energy management and environmental programs. Currently serving as a Sustainability Associate for the City of Portland, Maine, Erin is responsible for implementing the Energy and Water Use Benchmarking Ordinance and developing initiatives to achieve the city's climate action goals. Previous roles include supporting the York Energy Steering Committee with greenhouse gas emissions reporting as a Sustainability Associate with AmeriCorps VISTA and enhancing energy efficiency for underserved populations as an Energy Efficiency Coordinator with AmeriCorps. Additionally, Erin has contributed to various sustainability projects, such as leading the Be Your Own Change campaign with Dayton Regional Green and promoting environmental education at Beech Creek Botanical Gardens. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology with a minor in Sustainability, Energy, and the Environment from the University of Dayton.
