Hanna Pickering

Hanna Pickering is the Director of Information Technology for the City of Portland, Maine, since March 2019, bringing extensive experience in IT leadership and management. Previously, Hanna served as Sr Client Leader at Cerner Corporation and as Director of Technical Services at Central Maine Healthcare, overseeing IT operations for a large healthcare network. Prior roles include Virtual CIO and IT Project Manager at Systems Engineering, where strategic IT initiatives were developed and implemented. Hanna also held positions at Stone Coast Fund Services as Technology Manager, managing technology for a mid-sized firm, and at Citigroup as Assistant Vice President. Academic background includes a Master of Arts with Honours from the University of St Andrews.
