Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan serves as the City Administrator for the City of Portland, Oregon, since June 2015, overseeing daily operations for a city with a population exceeding 600,000. Prior roles include Interim City Administrator during a government charter change, Chief Administrative Officer, and Director of the Bureau of Environmental Services, where responsibilities encompassed wastewater and stormwater management. Jordan's experience also includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for the State of Oregon and Metro, where oversight extended to regional government operations. From February 1999 to April 2003, Jordan was a County Commissioner in Clackamas County, following a tenure as City Administrator in Canby, Oregon. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in General Social Science from Portland State University and attended the University of Oregon.
