Michael Shaudis

Michael Shaudis is an experienced professional with a diverse background in park management, design consultation, and emergency services. Currently serving as a Park Ranger and Wilderness First Responder for the City of Portland since May 2017, Michael promotes public safety and is an active member of both the Training & Safety and Strategic Planning Committees. As an Independent Design Consultant at Jinxmedic Studios, skills in graphic design, branding, and museum exhibit planning are utilized. Previous roles include a Senior Designer and New Products Manager at Northwest Territorial Mint and a Geospatial Information Interoperability Exploitation-Portable team member with the Military Department of Washington. Michael also has extensive experience as an Aeromedical Evacuation Craftsman in the United States Air Force and held positions in the United States Department of the Army as a Museum Technician. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree from The Evergreen State College and various diplomas in paramedicine and language studies from several institutions.
